CASE works for free, fair and accurate elections. CASE was born in late 2003 and remains an active resource for election integrity.

CASE Work this Year

A number of founding CASE members and early joiners serve on the Secretary of State's Voting Rights Institute (VRI). Under the leadership of Ron Olson members of the VRI Advisory Council, CASE, and outside experts formed the Ohio Audit Working Group and prepared a 30-page White Paper on audits with recommendations. Other activities of CASE members include work on legislation, registration, absentee ballots, and related projects.

Thinking About Voting Absentee? Consider this.

Many citizens will be requesting absentee ballots, but according to the Elections Assistance Commission (EAC) about 15,000 absentee applications in Ohio were denied in 2006. Approximately 12% of the absentee ballots cast in Hamilton County, OH did not count vs. about 3% residuals at the precinct in race for Governor. Here is how to make sure your vote will count:
